PrivacyPick.com ("we", "our", "us") reviews and compares privacy and security tools (VPNs, private browsers, password managers and more). This privacy policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

2. Data We Collect

Automatically collected data

When you visit PrivacyPick.com, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically logs:

• IP address (anonymized)
• Browser type and version
• Pages visited and time on site
• Referring URL

We use this data only for aggregate analytics (traffic volumes, popular pages). We do not identify individual visitors.

No account registration

PrivacyPick.com has no user registration. We do not collect names, passwords, or payment information.

3. Cookies

We use the following cookies:

• Cloudflare security cookie — required for DDoS protection, expires at session end. No consent required.
• Google Analytics 4 — only loaded if you click "Accept" on our cookie banner, once enabled. Collects anonymized usage data (pages visited, session duration, device type). We use IP anonymization. Data is processed by Google LLC under their Privacy Policy. You can opt out at any time via Google Analytics Opt-out.
• cookie-consent — stores your cookie preference (accepted/declined). Expires after 1 year.
• Advertising cookies (Google AdSense) — set by Google and its partners to serve and measure ads. See section 4 below for detail. These are only used once advertising is live on the site.

4. Advertising

We display advertising through Google AdSense to help fund the site.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) enables Google and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.

• Cloudflare (hosting & CDN) — anonymized traffic data processed under their privacy policy
• Google LLC (Google Analytics, once enabled) — only if you accepted cookies. Processed under Google's privacy policy. Data may be transferred to the US under Standard Contractual Clauses.
• Google LLC (Google AdSense, once advertising is live) — ad-serving and measurement data, subject to your consent where required. Processed under Google's privacy policy.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Request deletion of any data we hold about you
• Withdraw consent at any time
